Health & Safety
The Park Shore Health Office is dedicated to ensuring the health and wellness of all campers and staff each summer. Guided by established Health Care Policies and Procedures, our team works diligently to promote a safe, happy, and healthy camp experience. The Health Office staff carefully reviews each camper’s health record and collaborates daily to address any health concerns or treatments. Key staff members receive Advanced First Aid training, while the entire Park Shore team participates in a comprehensive First Aid and Emergency Response Workshop before the first day of camp. Park Shore maintains seven AEDs on campus, and all travel groups and off-campus trips are equipped with an AED, Epinephrine, and First Aid supplies. Parent and guardian communication remains a top priority, with daily calls made whenever the Health Office staff deems it necessary to keep families informed.
